Really good breakfast, really good hot chocolate, tea in abundance, great location in one of Halle's bar streets, well worth a visit

A huge compliment for the concept of the menu

The restaurant is cozy, the staff friendly and the food and drinks on offer are delicious. The prices are also fair. However, it is uncomfortably loud in the interior due to a lack of separation from the kitchen (sorry, but the place where the dishwasher is running, food and drinks are prepared and loud coffee machines are running, I am amateurishly calling the kitchen, not a bar). In my opinion, this means that a large part of the great atmosphere is lost.

This is probably one of my favourite coffee shops in Halle. Not because they do a good coffee, the atmosphere is very welcoming and comfortable. Here I would strongly recommend to drink tea. They have a variety of tea collections.

Great breakfast, always full!

We were very, very unfriendly asked to leave ... despite a lot of free spaces in the nice backyard, our group of 13 (6 adults, 7 children) was not welcome ... we had time, we came on recommendation ... what a shame! Our rating is therefore: unfriendly, inflexible and you apparently no longer need it .. according to the staff no pandemic rules but a basic rule .. but what would have happened if 4 small families had come in quick succession? .... in the café sun deck We were then catered for very nicely..man hall it works ...!

So nice, rarely eaten breakfast, you are greeted very politely immediately, provided with coffee, or whatever you want. Then you can choose in peace, very polite, attentive service. The breakfast was very balanced, tasty and we had to do everything to create. With pleasure again.

Were there for breakfast today and very satisfied. Even if it was very full and therefore took a little longer, the service was very friendly. The breakfast convinced us. No run-of-the-mill cold cuts. Everything is pretty fresh. The rolls, small ones with herbs, and the croissants were fresh, warm and very tasty. Plenty of cheese and sausage. And that's very fair for € 8-9 each. Those who like tea are spoiled for choice here. Many fresh and special varieties. We will be back!

The teas and hot chocolates are really good, and service is generally fast. We had a problem with a wrong order, but things went smooth otherwise. Might have to reserve seats.

My favourite café! With a large menu of tea and delicious cakes!

We do not come from Halle and ended up in this café on recommendation. As a tea lover, I was very enthusiastic about the large selection of teas. The cake is also highly recommended. The cafe has a great atmosphere. I particularly liked the piano music. The service was very friendly. Only the toilets could use a renovation.

Best hot chocolate in town! You also have to hold back on the cake ... Great location, pretty and with good music. It gets a little tight sometimes, but it's a matter of taste.

Nice place,great beer. Orange juice comes in quite small cups but who am I to judge? Aaaaaanyway,I'll return with delight.

The best Cafe in Halle and around. Speaking with 5 years of experience in the city, this place offers an outstandingly chilled atmosphere, a great variety of teas, lovely cakes, very good breakfast, and very thick hot chocolate. Only minor thing to complain is that their coffee machine is a little too hot, so wait before taking the first sip. To compensate: They have very well chosen background music and even offer piano concerts once in a while. This Cafe makes Halle worth living!

Roter Horizont offers a large selection of tea, which is one of the main reasons you would want to go there. You can also have a nice and thick hot chocolate topped with whipped cream (you can choose between four types of chocolate). The staff is also really nice!

The worst service !!! On 27.11. I drank chocolate with a friend here, the staff just ignored us until we called them. She was just not friendly to the guests, she did wrong for me and there was no apology from her, then the attitude was as if she wanted us to hurry up as quickly as possible. The price is only 6,10Euro and they gave us 6,40 euros without reason. I will not drink anything until when this young woman is still working !!!

The small Café Roter Horizont is very cozy. The service is also friendly. The ambience with jazz music and piano in the evening completes the visit. The menu offers something for every taste despite the small size. The tea card is huge in comparison. The prices are moderate (drinks: 3-5 € and food: 2.90 € -> 10 €)

Yesterday, I was there with my family for a spontaneous visit. We were lucky and got a table immediately. The ambiance is very cozy, in the background piano music is played by an automatically playing grand piano. More on that later. Just because of the hot chocolate I would like to have stayed a little longer and would have tasted one or the other flavor. Also the tea was delicious and with the extensive map, in which by the way also around the tea a lot is explained, there is certainly something for every taste. The service was very friendly and fast. What was a bit unnerving to personally was the automatically playing grand piano, which has always played only baroque music. At first this is very nice, but in the long run a bit one-sided and exhausting while entertaining. The toilets are a bit small and get used to. You could certainly renovate a bit. All in all, I can highly recommend the Red Horizon.

Wonderful tea selection, homey and yet open space, classic with a modern edge. A nice spot for breakfast in the nice historical pedestrian center of Halle.

If you are looking for a cozy and warm little place right now during the Christmas season, then this is the place for you. Especially the tea card invites you to linger and the cake is always excellent!

The best hot chocolate ever tasted in any of the restaurants so far. Have tasted hot chocolate in most of the restaurants in many countries. But the one available here with different flavours is just incomparable. The atmosphere is a romantic one and also cosy. Although not good for kids in my opinion when it comes to sitting inside. Outside sitting arrangement is also made. Even for winters, blankets are provided. Hospitable environment with a friendly and quick service.

Great Selection of Tea

Cozy coffee. We had breakfast there. Champagne breakfast. I can recommend it. Everything was good, the service quick and friendly.

We've been here a few times already and we generally love the coffee here. In the evenings, this place turns into a very busy joint serving cocktails and other alcoholic beverages. I just can't believe how affordable this place is! We paid around €25 for 4 cocktails and a glass of wine! Thank god I don't live in Halle!

Very good. And great prices.

Service is very unprofessional. Up to an hour waiting time for a simple uncooked breakfast. Tea is bitter and cold by the time served. Cutlery was served one piece at a time. This has happened on more than one occasion. Very disappointed! I strongly advice not to have breakfast at this place.

Cute Café with lots of cakes, coffees and especially teas. In case you love tea: go there! It's not even expensive. Some days international live acts are on the piano. Minus for the smoking and the waiting to order.
